The 3rd International Conference on Governance, Public Administration, and Social Science (ICoGPASS) is an annual international conference held by NIPA-School of Administration and Indonesian Association for Public Administration (IAPA) as Co-Host. Through this conference, we seek to participate in developing the results of studies and scientific ideas from experts, promoting scientific literacy and reaching out to collaborative networks while at the same time, we also carry out the task of strengthening institutional capacity and enhancing the quality of human resources. It is hoped that through this international scientific forum, academics, practitioners, and professionals in various fields of science can share suggestions and solutions to jointly support the post covid-19 governance in dynamic society, particularly in the scopes of inclusivity, accountability, sustainability, digitalization.
This conference is aimed to reach such purposes as follows:
Transforming Post Covid-19 Governance in Dynamic Society: Inclusivity, Accountability, Sustainability, Digitalization.
For more than a year, the Covid?19 epidemic has created shockwaves reverberating across the globe, and has shaken governance institutions at every level and across a range of issues, from trade to health, economic recession, and development. The impact of Covid-19 on these trends suggests some fruitful new directions for scholars of global governance and organizations on how Covid-19 will accelerate, slow, or perhaps reverse some key trends in global governance.
A key question for scholars concerns longer?term structural changes of post-Covid-19 governance. Meanwhile, the ability to formulate policies quickly and accurately is hampered by various structural problems such as insufficient institutional capacity, budgets, and hoax problems that hinder the acceleration of government work.
Most urgently, more research, collaboration, discussion of scholars is needed into governance mechanisms that will enhance the resilience of government in responding to the dynamic era.
In line with this, the role of higher education institutions, as part of “the triple helix” in the fields of innovation, governance, and development scopes becomes crucial, particularly in the context of conducting scientific studies in various scientific fields as policy inputs and recommendations as responses of the post covid-19 governance.
